I will start with a friendly reminder that THIS SUNDAY is Mother's Day!! Don't forget Mom!! And, a few important reminders:
- CONGRATULATIONS to our Home Run Derby membership campaign winners!! Rick Enszer won first prize (throwing out the first pitch at a Great lakes Loons baseball game, visiting with the team during batting practice and 4 game tickets) and Gene Holthofer won second prize (4 game tickets)! A BIG THANKS to Sid Allen for organizing and running the campaign and to Paul Barbeau for the prizes!! We had 4 new member nomination forms received!
- Bill McNeill is organizing our Great Lakes Loons "Cause Parking" volunteer schedule. Please see the attached schedule for time slot availability. This is a great deal of fun and a great fundraiser for our Club!!
- Country Club billings! Those members who pay for their membership meeting lunch by billing their Midland County Club membership, please note that your April MCC invoice may contain an additional $.71 for the April 3rd meeting lunch expense. The MCC increased the lunch cost by $.71 effective April 1st. Your Rotary Board approved that the Club will absorb this increased cost, however, for just the April 3rd meeting, the charge went to members MCC invoice. Please advise if you would like to be reimbursed for this cost. Thanks and sorry for the oversight!
