Midland Rotary Club members took a work break and braved the cold just long enough to pose next to our "traveling billboard" parked outside while Bob Iwamasa took this photo. This bus can be seen around town until the end of April, 2010. Be sure to be on the lookout for it and be prepared to share the story of Rotary's Polio Eradication efforts with members in our community.

Board Meeting
The board met recently. Attached to your email is a copy of the minutes from the January meeting and a nomination form for Daryl Griggs. Please take a look at those. If there are no objections Daryl will become our newest member on March 4th.
Congratulations Ruby!
It was a packed house last Friday for Ruby's Art Sweetheart Luncheon. Several Rotarian's were in attendance to see Ruby being honored for her dedication to supporting the arts in Midland and the surrounding area. Congratulations Ruby!
Spirit of Rotary
Don't forget to take a look at the Spirit Of Rotary Award criteria and see if anyone you know would be deserving. I will have nomination forms with me at the meeting Thursday. If you have any additional questions, please contact one of the committee members. They would be happy to help you.
District conference – April 23rd & 24th – Save the Dates!!!
The District Conference is fast approaching. We (the Rotary Clubs of Midland) are holding the conference this year so please save the dates, to not only attend, but to also help out if you are asked. Several club members are already working to plan the conference and make it interesting and exciting for people from around our district to attend. Lets get ready to show them our wonderful Midland Rotary Hospitality. The conference is being held at the wonderful H Hotel. Conference dates are April 23rd . & 24th . Save the dates!!!
